Simple recipes with juicy fruits and semolina have been tried by many. Let’s add some zest to a familiar dish, slightly changing its taste, flavor and appearance.

Ingredients

  • 5% cottage cheese – 0.5 kilograms;

  • Semolina – 2 tablespoons;

  • Chicken eggs – 2 pieces;

  • Fresh pears – 2 pieces;

  • Granulated sugar – 2 tablespoons;

  • Mac – 1 tablespoon;

  • Butter – 20 grams;

  • Powdered breadcrumbs – 1 tablespoon;

  • Table salt – to taste.

Steps

  • Take the butter out of the fridge in advance to soften. Scald the poppy seeds with boiling water and leave to stand for about 10 minutes. At the same time turn on the oven.
  • Break eggs into a deep bowl, salt and sugar, beat with a fork until visibly frothy. Put the cottage cheese and butter in the same bowl, pour in semolina, knead so that there are no lumps. Leave for ten minutes to swell the groats.
  • Wash the fruit, peel off the skin and seed pods, cut into small random pieces, pour into a bowl and mix. Drain the poppy seeds and mix them into the dough. You don’t have to worry about evenness, the dark stripes create an intricate pattern.
  • Grease one or more molds with a solidified piece of butter on the sides and bottom and dust with breadcrumbs. Spread out the dough, flatten.
  • Place in the heated oven for about half an hour. When the edges and top crust are browned and a pleasant aroma spreads throughout the house, the treat is ready.

Note

  • Place the molds on the table, cover with a clean towel and let the baked goods “come to life”. This is to ensure that our work of art arrives on the plate intact. Lightly scrape off any stuck-on edges with a knife or spatula.

Curd casserole with pears is delicious both hot and cold. It is eaten as a separate dessert simply as it is or poured with various syrups, fruit and berry sauces, sour cream, decorated with heavy whipped cream.

Milk, kefir, juice, compote are suitable as an accompanying drink. Hot tea, coffee or cocoa will also be very tasty.

Tender cottage cheese casserole with pears

To get a soft, airy treat, we will cook it in a multicooker. As a fruit filling, we will take the ripest and juiciest fruits without blemishes, with a minimum number of stony inclusions.

We’ll need:

  • Fresh cottage cheese, not grainy – 3 packs;
  • Sugar – 5 tablespoons;
  • Eggs – 4 pieces;
  • Butter – 20 grams;
  • Cream – 2-3 tablespoons;
  • Extra virgin wheat flour – 3 tablespoons;
  • Potato starch – 1 tablespoon;
  • Pears – 1-2 pieces;
  • Vanillin – on the tip of a knife;
  • Salt, just a little bit.

Here’s what we’re going to do next:

  1. Separate the whites from the yolks and whip into a stiff foam with an immersion mixer. Put the yolks into a blender bowl, pour in the granulated sugar, salt and lightly whirl to break up the grains.
  2. Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve and add it to the yolks, add a piece of butter softened at room temperature, add the flour and starch, flavor with vanilla and pour in the cream. Beat at high speed.
  3. Grate the clean halves of fruit without skin and seeds on a fine grater, or better still, grind them with the mixer attachment until homogeneous. Add to the preparation with cottage cheese, whisk again.
  4. Place the semi-finished product in a deep bowl and gently mix it with the egg whites in a circular motion. Carefully, using a spoon, transfer everything into the greased bowl of the appliance. Set the baking mode for 40 minutes. After the signal, leave the heating for the same amount of time. Do not open the lid before the time expires – the product may settle.
  5. Remove the finished product from the bowl using a pair of kitchen wide spatulas.

Interesting. People who avoid gluten can substitute wheat products with flour, coarse meal, or starch from rice, soy, or corn.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

For variety, you can mix pears with apples, bananas, plums. They have similar culinary properties. As an addition and decoration of ready baked goods you can use any fruits, berries, jams and syrups from them.
The steam cooker mode in the appliance is useful for this. Pour water on the bottom of the bowl without touching it and place a special stand with holes in it. On it, a dish with dough is placed and covered with a lid that extends beyond its edges. This is necessary so that excess water does not get into the baked goods. The appliance is closed and everything is cooked according to the recipe.
Not everyone has rice flour in their house, but you will. If you grind it fine enough, no one will even notice the change. Starch makes the products especially tender and preserves their shape. If there is no starch, you will have to add a little more flour.
