Ingredients
Fresh carrots – 100 grams;
A small apple – 1 piece;
Yolk – 1 medium or hen’s egg;
Cream – 3 tablespoons;
Granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon;
Salt, just a little bit;
Butter – for greasing.
Steps
- Peel the carrots, rinse them well under the tap and cut them into thin circles. Put them in a pot of boiling water.
- While the brew is slowly bubbling, cut the skin off the apple, cut it into quarters and remove the seed pod. Send it to the carrots about ten minutes before they are ready.
- Strain the softened mixture through a colander, let it cool sufficiently and put it into a container suitable for whipping. Sweeten and salt, supplement with cream and egg yolk. Whisk until smooth.
- Take a small glass or porcelain bowl or cup, grease it from the inside with a piece of butter, fill it with the prepared mixture.
- Pour half a cup of water into the bowl of the multicooker, put the steam rack on and place our bowl on it. Cover with a saucer to prevent water from dripping from the lid.
- Cook in the “Stew” mode for half an hour. After the signal and steam settles, open the lid and check the readiness. If the middle is a bit runny inside, leave it on the “Heating” mode for another 20 minutes.

Let’s engage:
- 2 carrots;
- Apples – 1-2 pieces;
- Chicken eggs – 3 pieces;
- Sour cream – 50 grams;
- Sugar – 4 tablespoons;
- Salt, a pinch;
- Baking soda – on the tip of a knife;
- Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons;
- Semolina – ¼ cup.
Here’s what we do:
- Mix semolina with sour cream and baking soda, leave to swell.
- In a deep bowl, beat the egg-sugar mixture with a fork until white. Add the soaked cereal to it.
- Grate the peeled root vegetables on a medium grater and put them in a bowl. Grate the apples a little larger and put them in the same bowl. Mix quickly, before the preparation darkens.
- Pour oil into a non-stick skillet so that it spreads over the entire inner surface, place on the stove, and heat.
- Spread the whole mixture, flatten, cover with a lid. Reduce the heat to minimum. When the bottom crust is browned, turn the “pancake” on a plate and return to the skillet with the back side. Keep it like this until it is completely cooked.
Children usually eat such deliciousness with milk, tea, juice or compote. Special sweet tooths can sprinkle their portions with jam or syrup.
Spicy apple-carrot casserole
In order not to neglect the older generation, let’s treat them to an exquisite dish. Let’s prepare chocolate pastries with oriental motifs in the oven.
Constituents:
- Carrots – 1 kilogram;
- Sweet apples – 0.5 kilograms;
- Eggs – 3-4 pieces;
- Sugar – 1 cup;
- Flour – 200 grams;
- Cocoa powder – 4 tablespoons;
- Ground cinnamon – ½ teaspoon;
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon;
- Vegetable oil – 100 milliliters;
- Salt to taste.
Stages of Creativity:
- Grate the prepared carrots on a fine grater, put them in a spacious container. Beat eggs with sugar and salt, pour into the same container.
- Sprinkle with flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and drizzle with vegetable oil. Use a spoon to knead the dough. Spread it on the bottom of a greased mold.
- Place the peeled apple slices on the surface and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
